With that hat, I instantly thought that if you were to taurify her, you should make her a Torchic taur. Then I looked up chickens and Hawaii and found out that not only is Hawaii home to feral chickens, the Hawaiian island of Kauai is home to vastly more than any other (descended from chickens escaped from coops in hurricanes). So that chicken hat actually makes sense.
