Chushin Pokedex - M 11 - Mega Vespiquen

Some more Mega forms! Personal bias for a favourite but I really would like Mega Vespiquen to be canon at some point. :D

-Royal Guard: Upon Mega Evolving, Mega Vespiquen starts out with a free Substitute made if its Combee guards.

Royal Guard's initial ability of using Status Moves that increase its own stats proved both divisive and unclear in what exactly that meant. I find it hard to do anything with game balance criticism because said criticism is somewhat useless. Most things like made-up abilities and them having their stats displayed is more or less for flavor. At least currently, I have no plans to actually make a fangame out of these, and even if I could it'd be loads easier to balance things because it'd stop being theoretical and I could actually do something with it. That said, Royal Guard proved to be conflicting and it was hard to think of any way to nerf it without adding arbitrary chance or dumbing it down with only Defensive stats being increased twice. Here it may at least be a little more thematic.

tl;dr: Royal Guard's effect was changed from having the user use stat-increasing moves twice to what it is now.
